Wami Aluko is A Nigerian conceptual and documentary photographer, creative director/stylist and filmmaker who studies philosophy at the University of Edinburgh.

Through her art, she aims to visually tell stories, highlighting the beauty in people, cultures and even seemingly mundane everyday occurrences; from a distinct and surreal point of view.

Growing up in Lagos, she celebrates the diversity amongst Nigerians and the Nigerian diaspora. Her debut documentary, ‘For Those Who Listen’ was an exploration of the upcoming creative scene in Nigeria, focusing on the impact of music on the youth. The documentary went on to be featured on Punch, ThisDay, Konbini and more. Since starting her photography journey in 2016, she has gone on to do exhibitions in Edinburgh, London, and Lagos.
